When I walked into the Room Collection in downtown Vernon, I knew within seconds that it would be hard to leave. Rarely do I walk into a furniture and décor store that offers me so much YES, PLEASE!
With a very carefully curated selection of clean yet cozy items, the styles and details strike perfection for people who seek a soft modern look.
As if the pieces in the store didn’t already have me in love with the place, I then I met owners Alison and Karen. Two delightful designers – and friends since Kindergarten – who are now seven years into a business venture that is bringing style and substance to the Okanagan. #friendshipgoals
These charming women have collaborated and committed to offering ab.sol.ute.ly gorgeous furniture and finishing touches to our area. Their humble pride was written all over their smiling faces as they told us about the store’s history and future, bringing us “beautiful things for life.”
Apparently, I'm not alone in my praise of The Room Collection. They were just awarded the 2017 Retailer of the Year, which recognizes leading retailers in the Canadian gift and decor industry, celebrating the spirit of Canadian retail. Whoop Whoop, eh?!
